Welcome to SafeCert SSL Certificate Service (hereinafter referred to as "we", "this service" or "SafeCert"). Before using this service, please read these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") carefully. When you register, log in, use or access this service in any way, you indicate that you have read, understood and agree to accept all the contents of these Terms.

I. Service Description

SafeCert is a professional SSL certificate service provider, providing users with SSL/TLS digital certificate application, purchase, installation guidance and technical support services. Our services include but are not limited to:

• DV (Domain Validation) SSL Certificates
• OV (Organization Validation) SSL Certificates
• EV (Extended Validation) SSL Certificates
• Wildcard SSL Certificates
• Multi-Domain SSL Certificates
• SSL Certificate Installation Guidance and Technical Support

II. User Account

2.1 Account Registration

Using this service requires account registration. You agree to:

• Provide true, accurate and complete registration information
• Update registration information in a timely manner to keep it true, accurate and complete
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Keep your account password safe and not transfer, sell or lend your account to others

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. If you find that your account has been stolen or there is a security risk, please notify us immediately. We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to properly keep account information.

III. Service Usage Rules

3.1 Legal Use

You promise to comply with the following rules when using this service:

• Comply with relevant laws and regulations
• Do not use SSL certificates for any illegal, fraudulent, infringing or other illegal activities
• Do not use this service to engage in activities that endanger national security or undermine social stability
• Do not interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of this service
• Do not use technical means to attack or invade this service system

3.2 Prohibited Activities

You must not engage in the following activities:

• Register accounts or apply for certificates using false information
• Apply for certificates using others' identity or organization information
• Use certificates for phishing websites, malware distribution and other illegal purposes
• Reverse engineer, crack or attempt to bypass any security measures of this service
• Spread viruses, malicious code or other harmful programs

IV. SSL Certificate Service

4.1 Certificate Application

When applying for an SSL certificate, you need to:

• Provide true and accurate domain and organization information
• Complete the corresponding verification process (DV, OV, EV certificates have different verification requirements)
• Cooperate with our and the Certificate Authority (CA) verification work
• Ensure that you have legal ownership or use rights to the domain name for which the certificate is applied

4.2 Certificate Issuance

Certificate issuance time depends on the certificate type:

• DV Certificate: Usually 5-10 minutes
• OV Certificate: 1-3 business days
• EV Certificate: 3-7 business days

Actual issuance time may vary due to verification processes, CA processing speed and other factors. We do not make absolute guarantees about certificate issuance time.

4.3 Certificate Use

Your SSL certificate:

• Can only be used for the domain name specified at the time of application
• Cannot be transferred, sold or lent to third parties
• Must keep the private key safe, loss of the private key may make the certificate unusable
• Must be renewed in time before the certificate expires

V. Fees and Payment

5.1 Service Fees

The SSL certificate services we provide are paid services. Service fees are based on the prices published on the website. We reserve the right to adjust prices, but purchased services are not affected.

5.2 Payment Methods

We support multiple payment methods, including but not limited to: Alipay, WeChat Pay, PayPal, etc. After successful payment, the order takes effect.

5.3 Refund Policy

Since SSL certificates are digital products and cannot be revoked once issued, therefore:

• After the certificate is issued, refunds are generally not provided
• If the certificate cannot be used normally due to our reasons, we will provide a refund or re-issue
• If the certificate cannot be used due to incorrect information you provided, no refund will be provided
• For other special circumstances, we will handle them according to the actual situation

VI. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights of this service, including but not limited to trademarks, patents, copyrights, trade secrets, etc., belong to SafeCert or its authorized parties. Without permission, you may not use, copy, distribute or engage in other acts that infringe intellectual property rights.

VII. Privacy Protection

We take your privacy protection very seriously. For information on how we collect, use and protect your personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

VIII. Service Changes and Termination

8.1 Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or terminate part or all of the services at any time, but will notify you in advance. For purchased services, we will do our best to ensure service continuity.

8.2 Service Termination

In the following circumstances, we have the right to terminate providing services to you:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You use this service to engage in illegal activities
• Your account has not been used for a long time
• Laws and regulations require service termination

IX. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the following situations:

• Service interruption or data loss caused by force majeure (such as natural disasters, wars, cyber attacks, etc.)
• Losses caused by your reasons (such as operational errors, incorrect information, etc.)
• Problems caused by third parties (such as CA institutions, payment platforms, etc.)
• Losses caused by attacks or intrusions on websites where you use certificates
• Certificate display abnormalities caused by client software issues such as browsers and operating systems

X. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use this service. Our total liability does not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the relevant service.

XI. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms of Service shall be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with the people's court with jurisdiction in the place where SafeCert is located.

XII. Terms Modification

We have the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Modified terms will be published on this page and the "Last Updated Date" will be updated. For major changes, we will notify you by email or website announcement. Continued use of this service indicates that you accept the modified terms.

XIII. Other Terms

If any term of these Terms of Service is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it does not affect the validity of other terms. These Terms of Service constitute the complete agreement between you and us regarding the use of this service and replace all previous related agreements.
